Aceste discuri pot fi folosite in urmatoarele domenii: prelucrare lemn, realizare decoratiuni, tinichigerie auto, prelucrari ceramice, sticla, etc.

Discurile sunt realizate din granule calcinate de oxid de aluminiu topit in cuptoare cu arc electric prin fuziune redusa a aluminiului de inalta puritate (high fusion), pe suport panzat, ceea ce ii confera o duritate mai mare, deci o rezistenta mai mare in timp.

Caracteristicile materialului: intalta puritate, auto-ascutire, resistent la baze si acizi, temperatura inalta si sabil la diferente mari de temperatura. Aceste calitati fac ca acest material sa fie materialul perfect pentru diferite moduri de folosire abraziva, pentru diferite materiale (metal, lemn, ceramica, sticla, diferite feluri de plastic dur). Continutul de oxid de aluminiu il face ideal pentru slefuire fina.
